Back to School 2025/2026 - Delano Intermediate School
Welcome to a new school year. It's going to be a great year. Please contact the intermediate school office at 763-972-7602 after August 11 if you have questions .
Annual School Year Paperwork and Schedules
Log in to Skyward Family Access and complete the annual school year paperwork. This must be completed prior to accessing your child’s schedule. Your student’s schedule will be released on Skyward the week of August 18. Completing this paperwork also indicates you’ve reviewed the Student and Family Handbook and the Internet Acceptable Use policy. Please contact the DIS main office with questions regarding Skyward Family Access. Please note, if you have newly enrolled in the district this year, your annual paperwork is already complete as part of your registration.
Meet the Teacher Days (Grade 4 only)
Students in grade 4 do not have school on Tuesday, September 2 and Wednesday, September 3. On these days families are invited to sign up for a Meet the Teacher Conference with your student and their teacher. Sign up links for these conferences will be shared at the same time student schedules are shared in Skyward. Please see the information above to be sure you are ready to view this information when it becomes available.
Open House (Grades 5-6 only)
Open House for grades 5-6, is Wednesday, August 27, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Bus Information
Transportation information will be available for your students the week of August 25 via Skyward Family Access. Once in Skyward, you will see the “Bus” tab that will show pick up/drop off times, bus numbers and bus stop locations. To update your transportation information or for other questions regarding busing, please call Stahlke Bus Transportation at 763-972-3991.
School Supplies
Students should bring their school supplies to the Open House. The list can be found here. For parents looking for a convenient purchasing option, DIS has partnered with School Toolbox. Parents may purchase some or all of the supplies needed online and have them shipped to their homes.
School Meals
Here is everything you need to know about our food service program that allows all in-person students to get one free breakfast and one free lunch while at school. DIS does not offer a second lunch option for students.
Early Release Schedule
This year, there will be a two-hour early release of students on the third Wednesday of each month. Please refer to the district calendar for these dates.
DIS Parents in Education (PIE)
We are excited to partner with our PIE team again this year at DIS. As in the past, PIE will be collecting a $50 contribution at the Open House. You can also Venmo your donation to @DISPIE. This year, the fees will be used to create and support student activities that help build a DIS community. Be sure to stop by the PIE table at Open House to hear about plans for the year and share your ideas. If you would like to join PIE, please email: delanopie22@gmail.com.
